Help, I'm boring

I started writing a post this morning. Half an hour into some brainstorming and writing, I realized I was writing about what I drink at work. What. I. Drink. ZZZZZZZZ... It's official: I'm boring as hell. I was going to describe the wonders and joys of the sodas I choose, and how lately I've been enjoying Earl Gray tea (which I don't think I'd ever had before this year.) Yes, yes, I realize I'm doing exactly that right now, but I'm writing it under the subtext of being boring, so it makes more sense.

Anyway... The house stuff has been bouncing back and forth like a ping-pong ball. We're off again, on again. It's exhausting. Keep an eye on the news from Seattle about a real estate agent killing her clients or something.

This is so typically what I remember as the kind of thing that you would say when we were teenagers. It's so funny how we get to be old fogies (sp?) and we think we're so much more mature, interesting and better developed than the chagrinned memories we hold of ourselves as teenagers, but sometimes I think we don't really change that much at all. :)

It's not that you are boring. It's that your life is too exciting to talk about.

House: Keep the "faith." The right situation will come along. Not that you need/want advice from us....but don't get into something over your heads repair wise. The only thing that saved us was that I didn't have to work for 6+ months and I was able to be an indentured servant. :o) Well worth it as there was NO way in hades we'd have been able to afford to pay people to do all the repairs we did. I just wanted to comment about that b/c I care about you two and don't want you to get as frustrated as we've gotten on and off over the past year.

Hey there is nothing wrong with Earl Grey tea. You might also want to try other Grey teas too. I have found them enjoyable since lattes are so expensive. It has been the only way I have been able to keep warm and awake this past winter. Good luck on the house.
